May 3 Meeting: Creating Usable and Accessible Web Content: What Research
from Several Fields Tells Us
***Meeting is on the FIRST Thursday of the month.
Web content is critical to people searching for specific, updated, and
accurate information. Find out how technical communicators and usability

right amount, into the right place on Web sites.
Dr. Ginny Redish will address a joint meeting of the STC Lone Star
Community (LSC) and the DFW Usability Professionals Association on
Thursday, May 3. Drawing on research from cognitive psychology,
human-computer interaction, linguistics, reading, writing, and usability
studies, Ginny will provide specific guidelines for creating usable and
accessible Web content.
