Joseph Paranteau, an Application Platform Solution Specialist for
Microsoft’s South Central US Region, will discuss the “Age of UX”,
focusing on why UX matters to businesses today. He'll give insight on how
Microsoft designed for almost 1 billion users
.uncovering the stories
behind Designing Office 2007 UX and the Windows Vista Design Process and
Philosophy. He will discuss elements of UX and share how Microsoft thinks
about this topic and share exciting ways designers and business are
harnessing Microsoft UX solutions today to create new online advertising
vehicles, groundbreaking new computing devices, mobile solutions, and
mission critical applications.

About Joseph Joseph joined Microsoft in July 2004. As an Application
Platform Solution Specialist, Joseph helps customers realize value from
crafting solutions, leveraging data management, SOA and business process,
business intelligence, development, and user experience. With 13 years in
the high tech industry in both enterprise software and services companies,
he also participated in the last great internet boom helping craft
strategies for some of the web’s most active sites.

Joseph prides himself on creatively applying technology to solve business
problems.
