March 13 Meeting: Going Global or Going Native? GILT edged, or guilty?

***Meeting is the SECOND THURSDAY of the month.

Mark your calendars for a very special STC meeting featuring STC First VP
Mark Clifford, as he comes to Dallas to address the Lone Star community
for the first time. You will be wowed by his British accent... but more
importantly, come hear what he has to say about Technical Communication
from an International Perspective when he speaks on the topic: Going
Global or Going Native? GILT edged, or guilty?

This will be a brief look at some of the main issues around
globalization--cultural diversity, audiences, media, tools (CMS, TMS,
etc.)--and why you should be aware of the impact on our profession and the
value to your business. Even if your organization is not dealing with
these issues now, you should realize that we are dealing with more
cultural diversity, right here in the DFW metroplex!
