[IPIC] Lone Star Community STC News: Mailing List Service Change

***Important Changes to IPIC Mailing List***

STC has been in the process of moving from the Lyris listserv platform to Mailman for several years, with over 50 lists already converted. Until this point, this has been a voluntary transition. Recently a decision was originally made to transfer all lists prior to June 30, 2008. Because of increasing instability with the version of the Lyris platform STC uses, the Lone Star Community's mailing list, IPIC, has been converted.

This is the first message broadcast to the IPIC list using Mailman. If you use filtering on your e-mail program, allow messages from mailman.stc.org to pass.

As before, IPIC is an announce-only list. Only administrators have permission to post messages.

If you previously set your preferences to receive IPIC messages in digest format, your setting has been preserved in the Mailman application. If you want to change this setting, read the Mailman documentation at 
http://www.gnu.org/software/mailman/docs.html

If you want to unsubscribe from IPIC, sent a blank e-mail message, from a mail program using the address you want to remove, to this address: 

ipic-leave at mailman.stc.org

You will be sent a confirmation mail. Follow the instructions given in that mail to complete the unsubscription.

If you want to add another address to receive IPIC messages, send a blank e-mail message, from a mail program using the address you want to add, to this address:

ipic-join at mailman.stc.org

You will be sent a confirmation mail. Follow the instructions given in that mail to complete the subscription.
