Technical Writer: Independent Contractor

Independent Contractor Needed:  Based in Marina del Rey, CA, CADFORCE Inc.
is searching for a Tech writer to create process manuals, templates, and
online guides to describe how we do offshore production of architectural
construction drawings.

The Tech writer will interview employees that utilize best practices. 
Based on those interviews, he/she will create the needed materials.  The
final products include a checklist, summary, and how-to instructions on
that particular policy, procedure, or process.  Documents should also
include an online counterpart with a hyperlinked table of contents, index,
and searching abilities.

Hourly contractor fee: $50/hr.

Initial project duration is expected to be one month, but scope may be
increased and project extended based on results.

Organizational style of writing preferred: e.g. Pyramid Principle a la
Barbara Minto, with use of sidebars for headlines and call-out examples
when material is viewed or printed.

Proficiency with:

MSOffice suite of tools required 
Microsoft Sharepoint (desired) 
All Clear process flowcharting software (desired) 
Salesforce.com (desired) 
Must supply own computer (MSWindows based only)
