Qualifications 
 
 • Solid technical knowledge of enterprise networking concepts and Win32
and Win64 OS, with demonstrated experience writing about networking at the
enterprise level.
• Hands-on working knowledge of firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention
and antivirus.
• Demonstrated experience in network administration, either writing about
it or doing it, including dealing with LDAP, Active Directory, and so on.
• 4-6 years -- years experience working in Information Development
department or similar environment.
• Excellent writing and technical skills in developing linear and
non-linear user assistance for multiple media.
• Excellent skills in print and online authoring tools. Experience working
on Content Management systems desirable.
• Excellent in User Interface (UI) standards for supported platforms,
especially Microsoft Windows.
• Solid knowledge of how information development fits into product
lifecycle.
• Some leadership experience. 
• Solid knowledge of emerging trends in profession. 
• Minimum 1-year experience scheduling the development of and tracking
projects.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. 
 
Responsibilities 
 
• Write product documentation for complex networking security products. 
• Use collaborative writing tools (content management system) to create
single-source writing that delivers multiple outputs, including online
help.
• Plan and develop large sections or complete information deliverables.
May lead part or all of a documentation project depending on the size of
the release.
• Commit to schedules. 
• Apply latest professional content development standards and principles
to plan and develop user assistance.
• Plan for and use content management principles and follow company
standards for content development.
• Work closely with other Information Developers in developing coordinated
content.
