TSI is seeking a highly motivated Technical Writer to join our clients
product development team in San Diego, CA. The position is temp-to-hire
and is located in the downtown San Diego area. The job title is Product
Specifications Writer.
In this role, you will work closely with a highly driven team of
creative and technical product managers to create detailed and clear
documentation for bleeding-edge technologies and intuitive user
experiences for products launched on the Web and on mobile devices.
You will coordinate with product management, software development, and
other departments to ensure accurate product requirements as well as
work with QA to ensure the adequacy and measurability of test plans and
requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES
*Translating customer and marketing requirements (CRDs/MRDs) into
detailed product, functional and/or user requirements
*Creating and maintaining product specifications and requirements to
internal engineering teams
*Working directly with UI designers to create wire frames and prototypes
to support requirement documents
*Understanding the users view of applications and/or technology putting
procedures in a logical sequence for engineering teams to deliver
against
*Providing expertise on technical concepts of applications and/or user
groups and structuring procedures in a logical sequence
*Composing, developing, editing, maintaining, and organizing user and
product documents and tracking project documentation. This includes a
review of existing documentation (minimal available) and the
identification and compilation of required documentation that may not
currently exist.
REQUIREMENTS
*Experience creating detailed UI specification or product requirement
documentation to support expected user experiences and product logic
*Understanding of interactive software as it pertains to the overall

*2+ years experience in the software industry as a QA analyst, technical

*2+ years experience writing and translating customer and market
