I’m a recruiter for Login Consulting Services.  We are staffing several
openings - Training Specialists for our client located in Irwindale
(91706).  The candidate will have a choice of either a 12-month contract
or Perm position.

Positions location in Irwindale (91706)

12-month contract assignment – client will also consider candidates that
want direct hire - Information Technology Training Specialist.

The successful candidate must have proven INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGN skills and
be able to develop highly technical materials for SAP end-user training in
support of the ERP project (rolling out SAP).  SAP experience is NOT
required.
 
Looking for people that have done the complete instructional design life
cycle - Research, Learn, Probe, Document, Conceptualize, Flow, Outline and
Design.

The successful candidate will work with others to develop course content,
exercises and presentation materials to support rollout of new processes
and tools. This could include the development of job aides and on-line
help materials for SAP end-user training.

The successful candidate must have the ability to plan, organize,
coordinate and schedule multiple tasks with minimal supervision and adjust
to changing priorities and assignments.

Must have a minimum of five years experience designing and developing
technical training for end-users. Must have demonstrated ability to learn
new technical topics to a level of relative expertise through self-study
and discussion with subject matter experts.

Must have demonstrated ability to adjust and adapt to changing priorities
and communicate technical information both orally and in writing to
non-technical individuals.

Must be proficient in packages such as Word, MS Project, Visio and others.
Must be able to travel to various facilities (possibly 2 to 3 times per
week).

Prefers candidates who possess significant experience developing highly
technical training materials that communicate complex and detailed
information to a wide variety of audiences.

Preference given to those people who belong to the Society of Technical
Communicators.

Degree in Business Administration, Communications, and Instructional
Design is preferred though not required. Not looking for candidates whose
primary degree is in Education.
