Senior Technical Writer
We are looking for an experienced technical writer who can work as an
integral team player in developing our clients product documentation.
The senior technical writer will produce electronic and hard copy
product user's guides and release notes for AiO printers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
*All activities surrounding the creation, editing, and formatting of
user guide documentation including leveraging existing content for
iterative releases of future products
*Communicate status of documentation and issues that impact schedules
and meeting customer needs
*Develop understanding of clients revision control, change management,
document management, and templates and use them to deliver documentation
to clients expectations
*Adhere to established documentation style sheets and templates
*Ensure consistency of documentation styles and correct usage of
terminology
QUALIFICATIONS
*5+ years experience working as a technical writer
*Excellent written and verbal communications skills
*Thorough knowledge of FrameMaker 7.0 with SGML (or Epic Editor)
required
*Experience using DTDs
*Experience using Webworks Publisher
*Experience with Microsoft Word
*Experience with single-sourcing documents to multiple output formats
highly desirable
*Flexibility and willingness to take on various tasks highly desirable
*Familiarity with version control software or eRoom a plus
*Must be flexible and able to effectively multitask
*Bachelors degree preferred, or a combination of work experience and
education
*Ability to drive project progress and completion
*Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
*Demonstrate energy and enthusiasm in the workplace
*Work independently and solve problems with little supervision
*Ability to manage stress and stressful situations
*Fluent in the use of Windows XP and knowledgeable in Macintosh systems,
version 10x

Localization Manager
We are looking for an experienced localization manager who can work as
an integral team player in overseeing our clients product localization
requirements. This position will facilitate and manage the translation
and localization of software, firmware, and documentation deliverables.
Responsible for ensuring timely and accurate translation and
localization, working with vendors, clients engineering team, and
clients marketing and product completion center teams. Establish and
maintain development, review, and approval processes. Oversee linguistic
review and implementation of changes to content during localization
process.
This position will report directly to the documentation manager and
provide reports on the localization effort to the client companys
project manager and project coordinator.
RESPONSIBILITIES
*Manage the workflow process related to translation and localization
projects
*Manage communications projects, working with key stakeholders, and
communicate status via reports and daily communications
*Manage relationships with translation vendor(s), solicit and offer
feedback on processes, quality, timeliness, and customer satisfaction
*Create and execute project work plans and revises as appropriate to
meet changing needs and requirements
*Provide consultation and price estimations to clients
*Mediate, resolve, consolidate, and communicate feedback to localization
vendor(s) on translation quality, timeliness, and translation memory
issues
*Ensure projects are on schedule and on time
*Ensure the quality and accuracy of projects
*Keep close contact with clients to ensure services and performance are
meeting their expectations and requirements to attain higher customer
satisfaction
*Communicate problems and quality issues in project to documentation
manager
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
*5+ years experience working in localization/translation
*Excellent written and verbal communications skills required
*Knowledge of localization and translation
*Must be flexible and able to effectively multitask
*Bachelors degree preferred or a combination of work experience and
education
*Working knowledge of page layout, PDF, development software
*Ability to manage small to mid-sized projects
*Understanding and experience with project management methodologies
