Request for some help

Dear STC-AC members,

I'm considering applying for an equity raise at my university, based on
the fact that I make only a little more than our newest hires and
considerably less than the other associate professors in Professional
Writing.  I have checked out the latest figures for academics in STC's
annual salary survey, and the average there won't really help me--I don't
think it reflects what associate professors with tenure, 20-some years'
experience, numerous publications (including a textbook), editorial and
administrative experience, etc. actually make.

If you would be willing to share your salary information with me
privately, I would very much appreciate it.  (Academic salaries are a
matter of public record, but one has to view them at the actual schools,
the librarian here says--libraries can't send the information.) My email
