Interested in taking a course in Technical Communication or E-Learning?
There are still a few places remaining for the 2007/08 intake on two
unique courses run by the Department of Languages and Cultural Studies
at the University of Limerick, Limerick, Ireland:
* MA in E-Learning Design and Development (full-time and
part-time).
* Graduate Diploma/MA in Technical Communication (full-time and
part-time).
In today's knowledge economy, skills in information development and
production are highly sought after, and graduates of these courses work
as technical writers, instructional designers, and content/multimedia
developers in the public and private sectors in Ireland and abroad.
Both courses are "conversion" courses, so applicants do not have to have
a background in computing to take them. The main prerequisites are a
primary degree in any discipline, an interest in technology, and strong
writing skills in English.
The full-time courses are funded for EU students, resulting in
significantly reduced fees.
