News for Students: STC Scholarship deadline: February 15, Posters due Jan 31

STC Student members and advisors, 

I'm writing to remind all graduate and undergraduate students that the deadline for scholarship applications is February 15, 2007.

The bottom line:  Awards of $1,500 each will be granted toward school tuition and expenses. Two awards are granted to graduate students, and two to undergraduates.

Student Posters at this year's STC Conference in Minneapolis.  This is a first-ever event sponsored by the Academic Community in which students are invited to submit posters for presenting at the conference.  Call for Posters and Application Form at http://stc-ac.org
