Composition and Technical Writing
 
One-year adjunct position beginning August 2007. We are looking for someone
who values teaching as a career and who is interested in teaching technical
and professional communication and Freshman English. Expertise is sought in
some combination of the following: technical writing, linguistics, content
management, usability design, Freshman comp. Willingness to use technology
in the classroom is essential as we are a laptop campus and all classes are
web enhanced.  Expertise or interest in on-line delivery is preferred. It is
expected that the successful candidate will contribute to a dynamic and
changing technical communication program. Degree in English, Rhetoric,
Technical Communication or a related field; PhD preferred, Master¹s degree
considered. Limited department/university service and advising of students
are expected. Menomonie is nestled in the highlands of Western Wisconsin, an
hour¹s drive from the Twin Cities. Send letter addressing teaching
