Ken Rainey Research Award

Nominations are open for the Ken Rainey Award for 
Excellence in Research, administered by the 
Society for Technical Communication. This award 
honors research that has made positive, 
significant contributions to technical communication practice and teaching.

Please send nominations to Hillary Hart -- 
hart at mail.utexas.edu -- by November 1, 2007. 
Self-nominations are welcome. To be eligible for 
the award, a nominee must have been a member of 
the Society for Technical Communication for at least one year.

Here is the schedule for this award:

•November 1: Nominations due (by e-mail).
•November 7: Nominees notified.
•December 17: Full packets due (cvs, supporting materials, letters, etc.).
•January 15, 2008: Winner notified.
