As Chair of this year's Gould Award Committee, I invite you to submit
the names of eligible academics for this prestigious award.  Information
about eligibility, guidelines, and a list of past recipients is

If you're not sure whether the person you are  thinking of recommending
is eligible in terms of years of membership in STC, you can check with
the STC office or send the name to me and I will check for you.

Deadline for receipt of applications is October 15, 2007.
