Hi guys,

Read thru the .pdf over lunch. Very enjoyable, thanks for sending it
along Wanda. I appreciate your taking time to keep us from re-inventing
the wheel.

Lots of good ideas there. Recommended reading if you haven't seen it
before :-)

I did find several points I can immediately use for PR/Outreach.

 - Send email notices more frequently, maybe 2 each month, so people can
plan ahead and also get notice right before the meeting.

 - Coordinate with programs and the web team for a more complete meeting
calendar with several months of data.

Tamara

(attendance q's)

All,

In looking over the board meeting minutes, I noticed the item about "-
Membership survey - a kind of 'customer satisfaction' survey to find out

what's important to the members," reminding me that the topic surfaced
at
the board meeting 3/21.

I'm attaching a couple of files that pertain to data collection I did a
few
years ago pertaining to STC attendance. They are a snapshot of the times

then, but might have helpful information these days.

The file--STCsurvfdbk2001mar13.pdf--had to do with low attendance
figures
around late 2000 to early 2001 (about 10% of membership at any given
meeting). The survey asked for checking off reasons of why not attending

and request for suggestions. Maybe questions that were asked at that
time
might help in formulation of the upcoming customer satisfaction survey.

The file--96-97YE2.DOC--had to do with my collecting evaluation forms
and
putting the data together at the end of FY97. It gives a window to how
attendee respondents rated the meetings for FY97. Items were rated from
5
(best) to 0 (worst) for chapter meeting segments: networking,
roundtable,
business, and program.
