Items done--
* Still in process of rewrapping archives into newer template and stripping
out extraneous code (at 2003, 4th q).
* Posting jobs wearing jobpostings hat.
* Discovered that jobpostings inbox had about 20 job posts that never saw
light of day, in addition to other emails indicating response could be
improved for timeliness and action. Sent out damage repair emails to the
senders about possible explanations (below), that I would post by next
start of day, and I would notify them when the listing would be at
http://www.stcaustin.org/employment/viewjobs.html--
++
** STC Austin job bank has been in the midst of revamping its template and
certain directory assignments.
** The positions of webmaster, employment director, and jobpostings had all
changed hands in the same time period and the transitions not gone as
smoothly as anticipated or wished for.
** The emailing forwardings for jobpostings at stcaustin.org might have failed
to reach the proper recipient.
** Lack of anticipation on my part that not all job posting requests would
be taken care of promptly without need for me to participate in the process
(hands off).

Suggested agenda items--
Advertisements, spam at aliases. Pasting from email I sent a few days ago--
+++++++++++++++++
Advertisements--policies for the following:
* website for how to submit, linkage (historical precedence since
transititioning away from hardcopy newsletters?)
* price (per month? quarterly? ongoing?)
* content appropriateness
* size of ad (full screen? banner? in-between?)
* animation?
* where ad to be located?
As for that Allen-Jones situation on the resumes page, I'd be in favor of
saying we accept only individuals' resumes--no "we" about it. And that the
purpose of the resumes page is to help tech writers who are unemployed or
foresee impending unemployment (for lack of a better phrase). Just my 2¢.
==
Spam--still getting loads from jobpostings at stcaustin.org &
jobbank at stcaustin.org. Have removed fwding addresses at
jobbank at stcaustin.org. No nonspam emails received there since mid-December,
although I've been logging in and removing spam nearly daily. Estimate
minimum of about 10 spams a day.
