Hi, Aaron:
I sent the following message to editor at stcaustin, but it was returned to me with
"fatal errors." I'm hoping that you might be able to share it with your
newsletter editor (or are you that person?).
Best Regards,

Dear Editor:
I'm the current president of the STC Washington, DC chapter, and after my
presidency ends in June 2006 (whoo hoo!), I'll be taking over as editor of our
chapter newsletter, Capital Letter. Right now, Capital Letter is only available
in a PDF edition, created in Adobe InDesign.
We hope to revive our HTML edition, and a fellow Council member recently sent me
a link to your newsletter site as an example. I really love the format with the
integrated blogging and the ability to post comments, and I would really like
to model our site after yours. I can handle some of the design aspects, but I
don't know where to begin with integrating the blogging.
Would you mind if we use your site as a model? I am more than happy to give you
credit for the concept. If you're willing to let us steal the idea, can you
point us in the direction of how you integrated the blogging features, and who
we might need to contact to do that? I did view your source file, and it gave
me some ideas. We have collective Web design experience, but we'll definitely
have to learn as we go.
I would appreciate any help or advice you can give.
Meanwhile, congratulations on your innovation!
Best Regards,
Eddie VanArsdall
