STC Austin Meeting Nov 15 - VoIP & Future Schedules

Hi STC Members,
Hope to see you all at the November STC meeting - this
Tuesday 11/15, at 7 pm entitled "Learn about Voice
Over IP (VOIP)."  
Glenn LeBrun, Senior Director - Product Marketing at
General Bandwidth, a leading manufacturer of
"Solutions for a VoIP World(tm)" will give the
presentation.  Networking begins at 6 pm.  Scroll down
for more detailed program info.  

In December we will have our Holiday Party on Sunday
Dec 4th at Andy Rogers home - Details to be seen soon
on the Web.  Tentative time: 5:30 - 7:30 pm.  

In January (1/24/06) we will feature Doug Dow, from
Kronos - the most trusted name in workforce
management, and a senior member of the Lone Star
Chapter, who will discuss Solo Writers & Single
Sourcing.  

In February (2/28/06) we will have Ann Balaban from
Texas Instruments, and a senior member of the Lone
Star Chapter, who will talk about Metrics. 
Also in February, we will start our Meeting 15 minutes
early - at 6:45 pm - so that we can conduct a General
Business Meeting.  Mark Your Calendar!

In March (3/28/06) we are excited to host Mary Wise,
the Past President of STC International who served
during the 1999-2000 program year.  We may start 15
min early for her as well.  Program TBD.  

April is still TBD and May will tentatively consist of
the Salary Survey and new Officer Installations.  

I hope you can join us at all of these meetings.
