[STC-Austin-general] FIRST STC Meeting is on Tuesday, 09/09/2008

Whether or not you're an STC Member - We Welcome You to the NEW Season of
STC Programs!

Though meetings are generally the "first Tuesday of every month", please
note that the kick-off meeting for this year will be on *Tuesday, September
9, 2008* to accommodate Labor Day holiday vacations. We hope to see you soon
and please bring a friend! The networking dinner will be at the California
Pizza Kitchen (The Domain) following the meeting. Please visit

*Ragan Haggard will talk about Sun's experience producing and distributing
documentation using the OpenDS documentation wiki. Ragan Haggard is a
technical writer for Sun Microsystems. He works primarily with the OpenDS
documentation wiki. He also assists with sustaining documentation for
Directory Server Enterprise Edition (DSEE).

*STC Austin swap meet*

Come early to network and browse or participate in the STC swap meet. Bring
your old STC publications and other technical communications goodies. This
is a great way to complete your collections and to pass on your old
treasures.All unclaimed items will be recycled or donated to local
libraries.
