I regret to announce that, due to scheduling conflicts, Kay Ethier
has resigned as Vice President of the STC Carolina Chapter. The

We wish Kay the best of luck in her future endeavors. We will miss

MONTHLY MEETINGS
===================================

1. GATHER AND GIVE FOR THE HOLIDAYS (December 13)
Ordinarily, the STC Carolina Chapter holds a holiday social in
December, giving members a chance to meet and share holiday cheer,
but these are not ordinary times. This December, we want to do
something different, which we hope will spread cheer to others less
fortunate.

This holiday season, we're asking you to open your hearts and your
closets. On Thursday, December 13 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at EMC,
we will collect clothes to benefit the Providence Home, a North
Carolina emergency children's shelter in Eastern North Carolina.
Providence Home is a shelter for abused kids age 8-17. The home is
fully funded through donations and through the revenue generate at
Providence Treasure, a thrift shop.

We will accept all types of gently used clothes (kids and adults),
and receipts will be available. For more information on the shelter
and this event, go to http://www.stc-carolina.org/www/upcoming.shtml.

2. MANAGEMENT SIG MEETING (December 6)
Michael Harvey will share tried and true tips for motivating
employees in these tough times. Bring your employee motivational
success stories and your not-so-successful stories. For details, see
http://www.stc-carolina.org/www/PICs/mgt/.

3. ONLINE SIG MEETING
No meeting in December. Online SIG needs a new home for January. They
meet the third Wednesday of every month. Please contact Ann-Marie
Grissino at mailto:amgrissino at keypointconsultants.com.

E-MAIL ADDRESS CHANGES
===================================

To change your e-mail address with the national headquarters, contact
the STC membership director at membership at stc.org or visit
http://www.stc.org/address_change.html. The local chapter receives
address information from the national headquarters and does not
maintain its own database. Note that you may use a different email
address for the mailing lists, however, you're still required to
update the email address on file with the national headquarters,
should it change. To read more about changing your discussion or
announcement list email address, see
http://www.stc-carolina.org/www/lists.shtml.
