[Stc_cny] Congratulations to Russ Kahn

We would like to congratulate Russ Kahn on being elected as an Associate
Fellow of STC.

This is the second highest grade of membership in STC, and is conferred on
members who have made distinguished contributions to STC and to the
profession. The Central New York Chapter leadership team recommended Russ
for this award, in recognition of his distinguished and long term service as
a chapter leader, in the East Bay, Rochester, and Central New York Chapters,
and in recognition of his teaching career and mentoring of students. Russ is
a recipient of STC's Jay Gould Award for outstanding work in teaching
technical communication, and now has been elected Associate Fellow
too--making Russ the very deserving recipient of two of STC's highest
honors.
