________Technical Writer Position________

Requires a minimum of five years technical writing experience.

BA/BS in a writing or technical program preferred.

Summary:
This person must be a motivated and reliable individual with strong
analytical and writing skills. Primary responsibilities include
analyzing and documenting internal application/business processes as
well as creating and maintaining technical documentation supporting the
company's product for the following audiences: business units,
developers/tech leads, project managers and QA. 

________Essential Job Functions________
* Design and create user manuals and reference materials for internal
use. These materials will be used by others departments as a basis for
training and end user documentation. 
* Design and create supporting development documentation for company's
existing and new products. 
* Design, write and implement online help for the company's existing and
new products. 
* Interact with business stakeholders as well as software development
teams. Previous experience with product development is necessary. 
* Provide QA with necessary system functionality documentation required
for testing. 
* Participate in product requirement review meetings in order to
understand product requirements and to contribute to the product
requirements process. 
* Follow all company standards, including documentation standards.

* Solid business analysis and technical writing skills, including
ability to document functionality, protocols, and processes 
* Ability to interpret intricate specifications 
* Attention to detail and accuracy 
* Ability to interpret and understand complex business procedures 
* Ability to translate business solutions into understandable
documentation 
* Ability to uncover errors with predefined business specifications 
* Experience and familiarity with Distributed Systems a plus 
* Knowledge of software engineering development methodologies is
essential 
* Ability to maintain and meet schedules 
* Ability to write technical documentation 
* Excellent organization skills 
* Detail-oriented individual 
* Ability to interface with all levels of employees 
* Self-starter with ability to work under minimal supervision 
* Strong technical writing experience; extensive descriptive/procedural
writing experience 
* Excellent written grammar and oral communication skills, as well as
excellent organization skills 
* Personable with an ability to work well in a team environment
