Message-ID: I think everyone who attended will agree that our meeting this Tuesday was a blast! It was worth the drive through the hard rain. We talked about the best of the Chatauqua conference, tricks for searching and replacing variables, viewing RSS news feeds from the web & from FrameMaker & Acrobat, MarkerTools, IXGen, and anything else anybody had questions about. Everybody learned something new, and everybody shared some knowledge. It was just really fun. (Well, my idea of fun anyway!) I demonstrated MarkerTools using the executable available for download from Leximation. However, there is a later version (still technically in beta but I've had *no* problems). Scott has given me permission to distribute it to you. The newer version lets you use variables within markers and has been refined so that you can't accidentally create blank markers. There are also improvements so you can use it properly with text insets and tables. To get a copy of the executable, send me an email at terryDOTsmithATper-seDOTcom. To get a demo license so you can use MarkerTools, drop a note to Scott from this web link: http://www.leximation.com/contact.php Warmest regards, Terry Smith From nlaponzina2 at a4healthsystems.com Fri Dec 2 10:42:08 2005 From: nlaponzina2 at a4healthsystems.com (Laponzina, Nancy) Date: Fri, 2 Dec 2005 12:42:08 -0500 Subject: MarkerTools lets you use variables within markers and you can get it now!
