From kirstie.edwards at skynet.be Tue May 24 06:56:19 2005 From: kirstie.edwards at skynet.be (kirstie.edwards at skynet.be) Date: Tue, 24 May 2005 06:56:19 -0600 Subject: Research into networked team writing - request for help Message-ID: Dear All, I?m researching how people communicate by email while working together to author documents. To do this I need to collect and analyse email records from professional writing projects completed over networks by groups of three or more collaborators in the English language. The network might be the Internet or an organization?s local area network (LAN). Writing projects from any discipline and in commercial, public or academic organizations are of interest. I aim to gain insight into the communication and working behaviours which promote successful results in writing projects with geographically dispersed team members. The results will contribute towards identifying success predictors in team writing and I will provide full reports of the analyses and conclusions to those who are kind enough to participate. If you can help with this research, please contact me: Kirstie.edwards at skynet.be Thank you for your kind consideration. One caveat: people who have relevant experience may be unable to supply actual email to you due to corporate information security concerns. Some writers may have signed confidentiality agreements on employment that cover such communications. Perhaps someone can suggest alternative ways to report on "communication and working behaviors which promote successful results in writing projects with geographically dispersed team members" that would have comparable significance. Again, best of luck. - Lucille -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
