SUMMARY
The Technical Writer supports the IT development group in creating
documentation for the purpose of communicating system design, coding
standards, and database design.

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
The individual in this role will be responsible for drafting, editing and
distributing the following, as well as managing the review process to
ensure accuracy of information:
* Coding Standards. 
* System Architecture diagrams. 
* Technical Reference documents. 

OTHER FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Technical Writer will also be called upon to monitor & manage
distribution of materials he/she produces, and manage document versioning
as subsequent editions are produced.

REQUIREMENTS 
* Experience working in a .NET environment.   
* Experience with documentation of Coding Standards, System Architecture,
and ERD diagrams.
* Functional knowledge of Javascript and XML. 
* 3 – 5 years overall experience in the technical communication field. 
* Able to understand source code for Java, C#, or C++. 
 
PREFFERED: 
* Experience designing UML specifications & creating Entity Relationship
Diagrams (ERD).
* Working knowledge of SQL in an Oracle database environment. 
* Experience with Confluence and Jira. 
* Formal education in technical communication.
