Avionics Technician

 

Location: Marine Corps Air Station, Yuma, AZ

 

Overview:  Install software modifications in the AV-8B Harrier Flight
Simulators. Perform Configuration Management duties, release software
upgrades, build simulator software packs, install and system test software
modifications. Perform acceptance testing. Work performed 

 

Areas of Importance: Flight Simulation Experience Required AV-8B Aircraft
Technician Experience Preferred Knowledge of Software Development Processes.
No coding is required, but candidate must be comfortable with looking at
code, understanding enough to implement changes in the code and the
software. *Not responsible for the Hardware portion (Separate service
contract). DoD Security Clearance preferred Must be eligible to obtain a DoD
Security Clearance. Background check and drug testing will be administered
prior to employment.
