I am pleased to announce that STC helped me get my current contract. A friend told my employer about STC, while the local chapter site was up and he found me!
I am working on a contract for Ceelox in Oldsmar. They are a biometric software developer making fingerprint-reading applications for personal computers and networks (http://www.ceelox.com/).
I am developing user guides, Web site content, white papers and QA testing their latest program revisions.
I found this friend by following the marketing advice of Rob Wolf and Paul Ferrari of Transitioning Professionals of Tampa Bay (TPT) and attending a Tampa Bay Technology Forum event.
Of course, when it rains, it pours; three recruiters called about the same time!
A financial and technical writer with 10 years experience, I turn tired technical tirades into smooth, easy-to-read documents. I wrote over a 100 aquarium, stereo and music articles for Freshwater and Marine Aquarium magazine and EnjoyTheMusic.com.
I like to meet people in IT, medical and healthcare, tourism and hospitality, along with small business people, who need sticky content for their Web sites. Thank you,
