Dear Suncoast members:

Re-energized and moving forward, the Suncoast Chapter
announces substantial changes for 2008. Join us for
better food, more input, and outstanding network
involvement.
 
As President Clyde Parson's recent e-mail said best:
STC membership adds value to our interviewing moments
with local companies, offers job opportunities, and
builds professional camaraderie. 

It is vital to become active in a professional network
in this economy. Who you know is important for that
tip on a future opportunity or training for your
current opportunity. I personally benefited from two
long-term consulting opportunities through our
network.
 
If you haven't renewed your STC membership for 2008,
we encourage you to renew at
www.stc.org/membership/join01.asp.  Be sure to choose
Suncoast as your local chapter. 
 
Nominations for chapter officers will be announced
soon.  Leila Woolheater and I are the chapter’s
nominating committee this year, and we are hoping for
an excellent slate of candidates for officer positions
this year. 

Please attend a meeting soon, or volunteer an hour or
two on a committee this year. You'll be glad you did.
